Last week, we just returned from our second little vacation for the summer, back to Florida again. This one was a family vacation with the kids though–quite different than the trip Angel and I were able to take last month by ourselves!

For this trip we did the whole Disney thing for a couple of days (first time for the boys), after which we planted ourselves on the beach for the last half of the week. It was fun, don’t get me wrong. And the boys were definitely very excited for many of the rides, getting to meet some of their favorite characters, etc. But on the other hand it can get very frustrating dealing with kids “world is ending” type of problems every day while on vacation.. I love them dearly, but travelling with them can make me want to pull out what little hair I have left! 🙂

But I digress. The point of this story as it relates to chastity is that I was NOT in chastity for most of last week! I knew Angel had picked up a key before we left the house, it was just unclear if/when she would want to use it. Turns out, she was a little bit afraid of me possibly being stopped at the metal detectors at the gates to Disney World.

I’ll make this the last post in my little “mini-series” of sorts about the kink-heavy vacation that Angel and I took together a few weeks ago. That’s not to say I’ll never speak of it again elsewhere, but I wanted to do one more entry here just to kind of sum up all of our experiences and lessons learned from the trip.

Overall this little get-away with Angel was absolutely WONDERFUL! There we were at the ocean, a good 1300 miles from home with no kids, no commitments, and pretty much no inhibitions! In the weeks leading up to this trip we had made so many plans of what we wanted to do (both inside and outside the bedroom). Many of those plans played out quite nicely, while others either fell by the wayside or just fell flat.

This one is kind of a hard post to write.. I’ve had a blank draft out there with this title (at least the first part of it) for a few weeks now in anticipation of what was to come, just had to wait until our vacation to see how things played out to know what to ACTUALLY write about. And this particular thing couldn’t have happened any more different than what I had hoped/played out in my head.

Every relationship & journey has to have its little bumps along the way, and I guess this is one for me. I think I’ve been pretty lucky since I started this blog, as overall it has been a pretty huge success story of introducing my previously completely “vanilla” wife to a pretty “out-there” thing (somewhat out there even as far as kink goes) like long term chastity. Not only has Angel been very open minded and accepting of my deep seeded desire to be locked, but she has completely embraced the role of key-holder and even learned a lot about herself along the way in terms of actually ENJOYING denying me orgasms as she has them for herself over and over again!

As anybody who has been following/reading my blog for very long would know, besides chastity Angel and I have slowly been venturing into quite a few other things along the kink spectrum; especialy in the realm of bondage, spanking, ass/foot worship, etc. The only major line Angel has drawn has been in coming out to any “public” BDSM-type events with me, whether it be a local munch, a play party, etc. She has been at least somewhat accepting of ME going to such things, but will not go herself. I can’t say that I completely agree with her reasoning, but I do at least somewhat understand where she’s coming from–being that she does work in the public sector and is fairly well known around certain circles in our community. You never know where those circles and the BDSM crowd may intersect, and Angel is very afraid of running into somebody who might recognize her. Personally I would just say that if there IS somebody there who knows her, the fact is that they are at these events for the SAME reason, and there are kind of unspoken “rules” against outing individuals that you may happen to see at kink events. But nonetheless, if Angel is not comfortable attending any events with me for those reasons, I will never force it on her.

But now back to our vacation. We spent an entire week in a Total Power Exchange with Angel playing the part of my Mistress/Domme (and doing it VERY well I may add!) For our last night on the drive home, I had come up with one last little surprise for Angel that I thought (hoped) she might enjoy. I’m not going to name any names here, but just outside of Atlanta I actually found a popular local “Dungeon,” which has a handful of private little suites for nightly rentals (each with their own private dungeon spaces as well). It’s like a kinky little B&B, only the second “B” doesn’t exactly stand for “Breakfast” in this case (think: “Bed & Bondage!”)

For my birthday in the Florida Keys, following a fun day of SCUBA diving Angel and I got off of the boat and went to get ourselves a nice couple’s massage! Day two of our little Kinky Getaway; it was a long travel day since we opted to drive all the way to the Florida Keys rather than fly. But driving does have its advantages, as we can pack a lot more into the van to bring along with us than what we’d have been able to put on a plane! Especially when it comes to fun toys to use in the bedroom. A lot of the things we packed would have had to stay home if we’d been flying on this trip. This gift has been in the works for a long time, like several years now… But we’re pretty much pulling out all the stops for this trip, there’s nothing held back or completely off-limits! Kinky Travels (pt2): Property of Angel

As we get started on our week long getaway, my first little surprise/gift for Angel comes in the form of… a new Tattoo! Well, sort of. Maybe not exactly full-blown, permanent ink on my body. I don’t think I’d ever really go that far, at least certainly not without first discussing it with Angel and making sure she was on board with it!

But I did come up with this design and sent it off to have a bunch of temporary tats printed! Just in case the picture at the top of this post ever isn’t displaying properly, the best way to describe my tattoo is a heart-shaped padlock with Angel wings around it, and the words “Property of Angel” at the top.

I am wearing one now, right in the pubic area directly above the Jail Bird. Being able to spend an entire week in complete service to my wife/Mistress, this is a very powerful way to start me off immediately in that submissive mindset! That which is locked tightly within a chastity device is certainly Her property, but even more importantly I am completely marked as Angel’s property–mind, body and soul…

Kinky Traveling

Angel and I will be embarking on a long awaited vacation next week, and it absolutely cannot get here soon enough!  We’re going to be letting grandparents take care of the boys for a while so we can take a full week long trip to probably the most tropical area in the continental U.S.: the Florida Keys!  Outside of a little day trip where we drove down there a couple years ago while staying elsewhere in South Florida, I haven’t been to this location for probably 20 years or so, and I’ve been wanting to get Angel there with me for quite some time to enjoy the relaxing atomosphere, some world class SCUBA diving, etc.  So when an opportunity presented itself to spend an entire week there with just the two of us, we both jumped at the chance!

To be clear, I have no idea at this point if any other types of “keys” will be involved while we are IN the Keys!  I fully intend to continue wearing the Jail Bird until (if/when) the time comes that Angel decides to let me out.  If she decides not to even BRING the keys to my chastity device with us, that is completely up to her!  We have been talking about this and planning things for weeks now, and I believe there will be PLENTY of fun, even rather “kinky” things going on between us throughout the week, whether I am ever unlocked or not!

Believe it or not, my last post was not originally meant to be all about “Richard,” and strap-on sex!  But as I began writing and got stuck on that topic, it just kept getting longer and longer until I felt it justified its own blog entry.  What I had intended to write about, was the deepening D/s bond which has definitely been happening between Angel and I of late!

I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve been able to write anything, as life has been pretty crazy for the past few weeks.. Not in a bad way or anything, just lots of things going on with the kids, plus Angel and I have been taking some dance lessons together so that has been interesting. It’s been pretty fun, but kind of crazy trying to juggle between babysitters, etc. for at least one night most weeks so we can go out for a while.

Short Probation from Jail Bird

My first chastity “sentence” in the Jail Bird, which also happened to be by far my longest continuous chastity term to date, came to an end last week. Unlike sometimes when I am let out of my device, there was no big fanfare involved, and no hot & sexy story to recount about the event. Pretty much no reason to even act like I was out, besides the fact that I was indeed free for well over a day so I felt it was worth resetting the counter and calling it a new session.

I kind of doubted that being locked would be an issue at all for just the consultation, but not knowing for sure I had asked Angel about a week earlier if she would be able to unlock me for this appointment, and she agreed. However, we both ended up forgetting about it, and I just remembered that morning as we were both getting ready for work. Unfortunately, that morning tension was already kind of high and tempers flaring a little bit around our house (I’m sure anyone who has ever had to deal with misbehaving children while already running late for work knows exactly the situation we were going through!) So in that case I opted to not add even more to Angel’s plate and ask again to be released. Since I do know exactly where she keeps the keys, once she left the house I just went back and let myself out of the Jail Bird before I went to work myself. Like I said, no fanfare whatsoever!

Reader Question: Longer vs. Shorter Cage?

But in my experience, the penis will grow no matter what. The less room it has to grow outwards, the more the erection is pulled into the body, but the more pressure there also is for it to go outwards. Which means that the less space there is in the cage, the more strain there will be on the scrotum, not less.

Six Months in the Jail Bird

Today I have hit a full SIX MONTHS straight of being locked in the Jail Bird!  This is already roughly two months longer than my previous personal chastity record, and still counting.  Now this is not to say that I have had completely zero orgasms over the past 6 months or have been locked absolutely 24×7 since October 4, 2016, but both of those statements are ALMOST true.

According to my records on my Current Status page, I have only been unlocked very briefly a total of 4 times over the past 6 months, including two of them on the same day.  I would estimate that I have had less than 1 hour TOTAL of “freedom” since we began this lock-up session.  And each of those outings did include an orgasm, so I can say that I’ve had a total of 4 full orgasms plus 2 of what I like to call “Chastegasms.”  So I guess you could say that I am still averaging 1 “release” per month, give or take a few days/weeks.

Now I’m not going to lie, a chastegasm does feel pretty damn good and does provide a bit of relief from all of the pent up sexual energy that just keeps building inside of me during long periods of chastity.  It ends up being pretty close to a “normal” orgasm, but still very different at the same time.  There’s just something about being scrunched in a steel cage less than 2 inches long, not being able to get completely hard at all and not feeling the stroking motion all the way down your shaft that makes it a completely new experience.  The only way I’ve ever even been able to have one is with very strong vibrations (i.e. from a Hitachi Magic Wand) directly on the tip of the cage.  The most recent such experience was just this past weekend, and it’s a fun story!

Locker Room Chastity

There are a few other chastity sites/forums (besides mine) that I follow fairly religiously, and will chime in once in a while on various subjects when I feel I might have something relevant to say.  I’m not going to call out the other sites here, but it’s likely that at least some of you reading this have probably seen me perusing other groups! 🙂  Anyway, one topic that seems to come up on a somewhat regular basis is that of revealing your chastity device to others.  Especially others who may not know anything about this kind of thing, and probably don’t WANT to know anything about that side of your sexuality!  Most of the time in the groups I’m reading this is centered around chastity specifically, but it can usually also be applied to revealing any other “kink” to unsuspecting persons, and it generally gets into the issue of consent vs. non-consent as well.

The place this comes up most often is when talking about wearing a chastity device in a locker room, be it at the gym, pool, or elsewhere.  I guess for some locked-up guys it’s kind of exciting to be exposed in that type of environment with a risk of being seen, or getting “caught.”  These usually turn into fairly lengthy discussions, with at least one person adamantly stating that it is NEVER ok to purposely force your kink onto non-consenting outsiders.  It’s an interesting debate.  I can see both sides to this, and I think locker rooms in particular seem to be a pretty big gray area.

I have been wanting for a while to write up a good review of my “Jail Bird” chastity device now that I’ve been wearing it for some time, so here it is!  I’m going to at least try to make this somewhat of a shortened version though.  I know that I’ve written before, and I will still maintain that among Mature Metal’s devices, the Jail Bird and Queen’s Keep are VERY similar in terms of form, function, comfort, etc.  So probably 99% of what I wrote in my Queen’s Keep review will still apply to this device.  That can be viewed HERE.  Instead of repeating much of that information, I will instead try to focus on the differences that I made in the new order and how that’s been working out for me, much of which would have been the same had I been ordering a new Queen’s Keep as well!

Happy Valentine’s Day, everybody!  Being how it falls in the middle of the week this year, Angel and I had a chance to celebrate this past weekend instead.  Friday night we had an all-night sitter for the kids, so when those nights come around something fun is almost always bound to happen!  We started off with getting tickets to a Broadway production currently touring at a theatre in our city.  I haven’t been to a live show myself for a few years, so that’s always a good date night!  Since we ran out of time for dinner beforehand, we stopped off for some food after the show, then it was back home where we very quickly made our way to the bedroom, already getting quite frisky!

Locked Up & “Hanging Around”

I had kind of an interesting, self-imposed experience last weekend which, well.. didn’t exactly go quite as planned/expected!  First off the boys went to spend Saturday night with their Grandpa, meaning Angel and I got the evening completely to ourselves.  After dinner and a movie we did rather quickly make it to the bedroom to have plenty of fun giving Angel numerous orgasms while I still continued to be denied in the Jail Bird!  (Which, by the way, I still have no idea when I may be out of again, but will at least be trying to write up a bit of a review of soon!)

2016 Lock-up Summary

Last year around this time I went through my Current Status page and wrote up a 2015 Lock-up Summary, so I thought I’d do the same thing again for 2016.  Turns out I’m very consistent!  I felt like I was probably locked more this past year than I was the year before, but it turns out that is not true.  I was let out FEWER times, but some of them were for longer durations, so it kind of evened out.  For example, in 2015 I reported being let out of chastity 9 times, for a total of 61 days.  In 2016, I was only let out 5 times, for a total of 62 days!  As with last year, for those 5 “release periods” I only counted times where I was let out for at least one full day at a time.  If I was only out for a few minutes for a quickie orgasm or something then locked right back up, I still count that as being in chastity for that day (just being used by Angel however SHE sees fit!)

Last year I did the math to determine that I was LOCKED for a total of 304 days, or 83% of the year.  With 2016 being a leap year and all, turns out I was STILL locked for a total 304 days, or 83% of the year!  I had no idea that I was being so consistent for two years in a row, but that is still a LOT of time locked!  I know there were a couple of those 5 “outings” where I was free for about 2 weeks at a time, and one where I was out for a full 3 weeks.  Some of that was vacation related, and some was holding off on a new device to arrive, etc.  I suspect those kind of scenarios will be increasingly few and far between though.  I have actually vowed to Angel that this year (short of any unforeseen circumstances popping up) if she’s not actively “using” her dick then I will do my best to keep it locked at all times!  So we will just have to see how easy it is to keep that promise throughout 2017.

I also always find it very fun & rewarding to go back and reread some of my other posts over the past year to remember and sort of relive some of the highlights!

Private New Year’s Party For Two
