Courtroom Chastity

Lock&Gavel2

For the first time in my life, I was summoned for Jury Duty this week. It is a very interesting process, which took 2 days just for the selection of twelve jurors and two alternates. In this case I was not chosen in the end, so I did not have to return for day 3.

I was a bit nervous when entering the courthouse on the first day, considering that I would have to pass through metal detectors while wearing a stainless steel chastity device! As I’ve previously written about, I have passed through the detectors numerous times at baseball games with no issues, but I can easily see how they might have the machines calibrated quite a bit tighter here. I even considered asking Angel to unlock me beforehand to make sure I didn’t set off the alarm. I’m sure she would have gone along with that, but the more I thought about it I decided to go ahead and take the risk. What’s the worst that could happen? A security guard would find out about my “situation.” I mean, it’s not like there’s anything illegal going on here!

I decided to just go for it, and if the alarm went off I figured it would be best to be completely honest about what was going on, rather than try to hide it and come up with some other excuse.  Something I haven’t really written about before, is that I actually keep a small (business card size) printed note in my wallet for just that type of situation. In order to save some potential embarrassment of having to explain the Queen’s Keep to a security guard, possibly in front of a line of other people waiting to pass through, I could simply hand them this note which I think would tell them everything they need to know. It reads:

For Your Information:

I am currently wearing a steel Chastity device for which I do not have the key, or any way of removing it. This will likely set off your alarm.

If you must do a more thorough search, I will consent:
I only ask for your utmost professionalism and discretion in doing so…

Thank You!

I have never actually had to USE this note before, but it was certainly worth having it available in my back pocket when entering the courthouse. (There is one other, kind of funny story about carrying this note that perhaps I will share one day, but it’s not really pertinent to THIS post! Lol)  (UPDATE 10/13/15 I have now posted that story here: Chastity and the Police. Enjoy!)

With my mind made up to take the chance, I walked into the building on day 1 to report for duty. As instructed, I emptied my pockets of keys, cell phone, etc. and even removed my belt, to be sure THAT wouldn’t be setting anything off. If they had a problem with belt buckles, at that point I was almost sure that I would have to use my note! I stepped up to the machine as nonchalantly as possible, with my heart beating rather rapidly for not knowing what was about to happen. After a slight pause, I stepped on through, and… NOTHING HAPPENED! No beeps, no buzzes, no raised eyebrows or pat-down by the security guard.. Nothing! Just as the first time I did this at the stadium, I was fairly relieved that my little “secret” was still completely safe in my pants! 🙂 In another sense, I have to admit I was also a little bit proud of myself for “beating” another metal detector, even though I know it wasn’t really anything that I did (or didn’t do) to make that happen!

As the day progressed and we were in and out of the courtroom while the lawyers were busy deciding who they wanted to sit on their jury, I was kind of glad that I was still locked.  Angel wanted to keep me locked until our little trip coming up at the end of the month, and it would have been a shame to have missed that goal by only about 1 1/2 weeks! Plus, as long as I’ve been locked now, if I were let out I’d probably have been a bit too “excited” and not been able to concentrate on the lawyer’s questions very well! Lol

When I returned the second day, I was much more comfortable with the situation. I didn’t even bother to take the note out of my wallet that time to have it more easily accessible in my pocket. I just walked right on through as normal, and again no alarms went off. Not too far behind me though, I did see at least two people in a row who set off the alarm. I watched as they then proceeded to remove their belts and try again, and that time they were able to pass through without setting off the alarm. It did make me wonder again, how the heck did they get stopped for a belt buckle but the Queen’s Keep went by completely undetected? Oh well, it was good for me at least!

I’m sure that anybody with a metal chastity device, most likely thinks from time to time about what would happen if they had to pass through a metal detector. Well I’m here to tell you that at least for me personally, so far, and specifically with the Queen’s Keep, that has not been an issue at all! Everyone’s mileage may vary greatly though, so I can in no way guarantee similar results for anybody else..  I would highly recommend to anybody who might ever consider walking through a metal detector while wearing a chastity device to always be prepared to either “out” themselves about that part of their sex life, or to come up with some other good excuse!

if the device is stainless it’s likely the metal detector wont pick it up as it’s a poor conductor (compared to other metals)
You need a lot more stainless than you do other metals to set off a detector.

Brilliant advice about the card. I must admit, I’d been curious how you overcame this little obstacle. Everyone goes through security at some point in their lives.
Also very curious about the “other funny story.” Tell!

    Good to know.

  7. I really like the card. I have to go to one of our distribution centers next week which has metal detectors entering and leaving.

  8. Awesome idea! I will be passing this on to a boy of mine. Thank you!
