Yes, I have experienced that “burning” sensation a little bit, but only after I started having my device re-sized, then found that the gap needed to be adjusted as well. Mature Metal has told me the same thing, that this is caused by the gap being too small… After a couple of different shipments back to MM, it seems like I’ve finally got the size right now and I haven’t had any issues for a while now. Lube might help somewhat, and as I wrote on my last post in answer to a different question, the best thing I have tried up to this point is Baby Oil Gel. Apparently that is also what William (Mr. Mature Metal himself) also uses, so that advice is straight from a very good source!
If your device is that painful though, where you have to take it off fairly frequently to “heal,” then lube may or may not be a lasting solution. I wouldn’t really bet on your body just magically adjusting to it and it not being an issue any more. Even Mature Metal once told me that if it’s causing harm then TAKE IT OFF!! Maybe you need to try one more 1/2 size increase on the gap? Or does the ring size itself seem to be correct for you? If you haven’t already, I would suggest also letting MM know about the continued issues to see if they have any further suggestions…
I know that it can be a pain (sometimes quite literally!) to find just the right fit when it comes to a good chastity device, but in the end it is well worth it! Good luck, and please let me know how it goes!
