Thrill of the Chaste

I’ve decided to try something new this year with my blog to hopefully make it easier for at least some readers to interact with me and with each other, for anybody who may be interested. I’ve had a discussion page on the blog for quite a while, but it really doesn’t get used very often. I’m perfectly OK with that, as I know that just using a WordPress comments section isn’t exactly a particularly good communication medium (it can sometimes be kind of hard to sort out where one conversation ends and another begins…) And we HAVE had some great, more pertinent discussions on individual blog entries over the past few years. For that I thank you, and your feedback and questions are ALWAYS welcome!!

So for a general discussion page, I’m going to try using a group on FetLife instead. I don’t know for sure, but I suspect a large percentage of my readers might already be on Fet anyway, so you would know that the groups there are pretty easy to navigate, start new discussions, follow discussions, send a private message to individual members if desired, etc. If you’re not already a member, I highly recommend joining anyway even if my group has nothing to do with it (yes it is free!)

Once logged in, if you want to find my group just do a simple search for Thrill of the Chaste and it should come right up.

We will see how this goes. I may or may not write much new content in that group, as I already spend quite a bit of time writing about my life and things that I’m interested in here on the real “Thrill of the Chaste” blog. But I’m sure I will at least have some links posted and if anybody has specific questions about anything that I’ve already written about, it will be easy to direct you back to specific blog posts as well as get any feedback that other members might have.

Keep in mind that this is only an addition to my site, not replacing anything (well, except perhaps the old Discussion page). So please, feel free to continue commenting directly on any post you’d like or reach out privately via my contact page. And just like anything posted here, you never know but what some random conversation on FetLife could prove to be inspiration for a future new blog entry!
