Breaking Out of the CB-6000S

So, that title is actually very literal…  I am currently “out,” because my CB-6000S broke!  I had been doing ok with that device since sending the Queen’s Keep back for some size adjustments, though the CB-6000s is definitely not NEARLY as comfortable as the keep!  The main issue I’d been having for the last week was that all the pieces of the base ring would still keep catching a stray pubic hair every once in a while, and I’d definitly feel it!  I got in there and shaved it as much as possible, but that’s not really the easiest thing to do in chastity without taking the device completely off.

However, Friday night I was woken up at about 3:00 AM feeling like something was really pinching me down there.  At first I thought it was just the hair thing, so I reached down to take care of that.  I couldn’t seem to find any hairs stuck, but over on the right side of the cage it seemed like (somehow) a small piece of actual skin was wedged up into the ring, causing the pinching.  I couldn’t figure out in the dark how that was happening, so ended up getting up to go to the bathroom and investigate.  That’s when I found that it was broken, but not in a way that you would expect of these plastic devices!

Normally, when you hear of one of the CB-XXXX models breaking, it is in the cage itself, right along the center seam.  They are rather prone to cracking there over time and can start to scratch up the balls or bottom of the penis.  This cage is perfectly fine though; mine actually broke on  the RING, right where one of the guide pins passes through!  I never really would have considered that to be a stress point that could break, but apparently it is!

With that broken, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to continue wearing it, and the ring was now flexible enough that I was able to pull myself completely out of the device fairly easily.  So I took it off and went back to bed completely free.  When Angel and I woke up the next morning, before she noticed it for herself the first thing I told her was that this device did break overnight so I was currently free.  She didn’t seem to mind, and rather enjoyed the opportunity to tease me a bit more while still not letting me go all the way!

So now I’ll just have to wait until Mature Metal finishes resizing the Queen’s Keep and gets that back to me to try out.  At some point I may try ordering a new base ring for the CB-6000s, just to have a backup device again, but I’m not sure how much it would be worth it.

It’s definitely not just you. Those devices are manufactured very poorly and they have a few weak spots where they tend to break or split open.

You know, that is EXACTLY where mine broke, and under the same circumstances. Sleeping, on my back. The silver lining though is that when I showed my rather vanilla wife in the morning, and told her how disappointed I was that it broke, she asked if anyone made something sturdier. I told her about mature metal, and after a couple days measuring, off went my order for my jailbird.

But whenever I read about CBs breaking, it was always the cage not the ring.

Well cool, good to hear it’s not just me then! 🙂 I’d never heard of anyone else with this particular problem, either. Congrats to you, the Jailbird is a great upgrade!
