A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a post with a little book review of “The Toybag Guide to Chastity Play.” You can re-read that post in its entirety, here. This quickly became my most commented blog post to date! It was not all specifically about the book, per se, but a good discussion began about the topic of female chastity, and how there’s not really a whole lot of good information out there about it. Compared to male chastity, there also does not seem to be very many device options for women, at least not much that would actually be very sustainable for long term.
As I said, there were a number of comments on my book review, and recently a new comment was added from the author herself, Mistress Simone!

Thank you ever so much for reviewing my little book on one of my favorite lifestyles, chastity. I tried to make it accessible for all levels from beginners to hard core keyholders. It was very challenging to research female chastity in its present form. The social concept is one of the virgin in a steel belt to prevent loss of virginity, especially as women were once considered highly valuable property. It was used as a means of protecting one’s investment. Modern day social structure has eliminated the need for such machinations. This was reflected in my search for current information such as blogs or websites dedicated to female chastity, as well as actual practical devices for women to wear. The one blog pcguy mentioned was a good one, but is now defunct. All the so called devices I found on shop sites were useless- more just for looks than actual restriction. I searched for days to find decent devices and resources to no avail.
In regards to the male portion, I tried to discuss practicality for considering chastity and what some of things one might encounter. As there are so many devices out there, I chose to concentrate more of the whys and hows of entering chastity, and what to look for in a device in general.
I am glad you enjoyed the book, and I want to congratulate you on a wonderful blog.
I thought that this deserved a new post of its own, so more of my readers might actually see it! I know when I’m reading others blogs, I will generally scroll down through the comments at the end, but admittedly I do not always make it back to look at newer comments days later. As such, I’m sure I do miss some good insights sometimes in that regard!
So first of all– Thank you, Ms. Simone, for reading my blog and for the nice feedback! Next, if anybody out there actually has any first-hand experience with female chastity, I’d love to hear from you on what sort of device (if any) you use! I would suspect that with the right partner, there are probably plenty of women out there who might enjoy chastity/orgasm denial just as much as some men do!
On the subject of female chastity devices you can go 2 ways. One are full chastity belts and the second ones are vaginal / clit shields (piercing). With belts me and Miss decided not to give it a go since they are to much trouble to keep clean and using the toilet sucks for the woman inside it.
If you like to keep things clean you just have to go with vaginal chastity piercings or clit shield piercing. Like you can guess this involves piercing of female genitalia so it can get tricky. You can find an example of how those look (devices) at http://www.steelwerksextreme.com/female-chastity
I have asked Miss if she would go with Clit Hood but she is not for piercings down there 🙂

If you are curious about an update on my own travails through orgasm denial, Master finally let me have mine on Saturday (after 8 weeks) and it … lasted about seven minutes, which is a crazy long time for something like that. I really thought my brain was beginning to short out.
Still no devices for me, I guess we never really though about it … given female anatomy, I can see being “locked” could cause some hygiene and logistic issues. Although I have seen some intriguing piercings.
Thank you so much for the comment! 8 weeks is a very long time to go, and it does feel amazing after all of that, doesn’t it?! I can’t say that mine actually lasts for several minutes at a time, but while still locked and pleasing Angel I am right there at that 99% level for at least that long at a time, so I do feel like I have a pretty good idea of what that must feel like! 🙂 And of course I’ve only done 8 weeks while locked in a device, so kudos to you for going that long on will-power alone!
Well, it’s not easy, but it eventually fades to the background, what with busy schedules and such.
Honestly it actually hurt in a way, like my senses were so overloaded my brain wasn’t processing stuff correctly … Or something … Lol … I’m not doing a very good job of explaining myself I guess.
