It’s been basically two weeks since my new Queen’s Keep arrived, and I have been unlocked from Chastity for almost that same amount of time. I have been testing out the new device pretty extensively and generally everything has been going quite well with it! I am thinking it’s just about time to go ahead and give Angel the keys, and therefore once again full control of my orgasms! If I was just getting started with chastity, it may have taken a lot more than two weeks to get to this point. But since I’m already used to it and pretty much know what works and what doesn’t work, this feels like plenty of time!
I’m still working out the details in my head of how I want to go about this. Next week, we are going to be traveling with the family for a few days over the Thanksgiving holiday. Right now I’m leaning towards getting Angel the keys shortly before we go, and letting her decide whether or not to even bring them with us on the trip! It’s not like we’ll be able to do much “sexually” anyway, as there will be at least one kid in the same room as us the whole time. Chastity could be a fun little game to have between us over the holidays; a game the rest of the family will have no clue is going on! 🙂
I am, of course, a little nervous about how Angel will react to the new device. It took a little while for her to get used to seeing me in a clear plastic cage, so is a solid metal one going to set that back? Or will she like it even more? I know I shouldn’t be too worried. Angel has always been very open-minded and supportive of my little “quirks!” I just can’t help getting a little apprehensive before introducing something new like that. I’m sure it will all work out though.
I have been looking into ordering either a QUEENKEEP or JAILBIRD; have been hesitating for this will be the first chastity device, I do not want to feel as though I am throwing away money. Even though the CB-xxxx will be cheaper, I am hoping by following your adventure into the steel trappings, that I will come to the conclusion, to order from MM. So far you have convinced me to order the kit. I will be ordering the sizing kit right after Thanksgiving holiday.
I would like to know if venturing right into a custom steel device is a step that I should take, by following your personal situation and accurate descriptions on the workings, trappings, cleaning, feelings, et cetera.

From where I am NOW, I would say yes, it would be a good step to go straight into a custom steel device. But I know I would have been hard to convince of that myself, if I hadn’t gone through and tried the CB-xxxx models first. If you’ve never had a chastity device before, it will take some time to get used to the feelings in general, of being locked up. Trying the cheaper models first helped me a lot to see what being in chastity was all about, and to find out what worked for me and what didn’t. So if you do spend that much money on it and have some trouble adapting, just stick with it and keep trying for a while. You’ll probably have the device on and off quite a few times before you work your way up to any sort of “long term lock-up.”
The other thing to keep in mind when measuring/ordering, is that generally the SMALLER THE BETTER! So definitely get lots of measurements when you are at your smallest, then wait a while and do it again! The diameter won’t matter quite as much (From my experience. Should be snug, but a tiny bit of extra room won’t hurt anything) but I would take your shortest length and even subtract another 1/4 – 1/2 inch from that! I only did 1/4″ shorter, and it’s ok–but there are already times I can see that even another 1/4″ more would have been a tiny bit better!
When you first get the device (even with the plastic ones), it will look EXTREMELY small, and you will think it’s not possible to squeeze yourself in there! But just make sure to get COMPLETELY soft before trying to get it on, and it will go.
