The “Has Been” vs “Up and Coming”

I started dabbling in male chastity several years ago, and chose my first device probably the same way as most other guys who are into this sort of thing: by price and availability.  In the beginning it was a little hard to imagine just what it would feel like having my penis all scrunched into a little locked cage, and having no way of ever touching myself!  And with that said it was also very hard to imagine parting with hundreds of dollars of hard-earned money to do that to myself!   What if I don’t like it? What if it hurts? How do I pee? What if (bla bla bla, I could go on for a while!)  So I bought myself a plastic chastity device, mainly just because I felt the price wasn’t too unreasonable just to “try it out,” and that happened to be what was on the shelf at the local novelty shop I was visiting.

Specifically, I had just purchased “The Curve,” well-known as one of the first of what would be a fairly extensive line of male chastity devices produced by the company A.L. Enterprises.  More of this to come in a later post, but suffice it to say that over the years I have followed the evolution of their products and settled with one of the latest models: CB-6000s.

I have had quite good luck with the CB-6000s, and eventually even got the nerve to introduce it to my beautiful wife (now also my key-holder) but more on that later as well!  The only things I haven’t really cared for with this device are:
1) It tends to be a little difficult to keep clean.
2) The plastic cage has a bad reputation for eventually splitting down the seam, causing injury to the wearer.
3) On very cold or hot days, the plastic almost seems to flex a bit sometimes, which on rare occasions has allowed a testicle to (rather painfully) slip through!
4) Even with the “short” version (that is what the “s” stands for in CB-6000s) the cage still seems a bit too large for me.

So while I am still wearing that device today as I write this, the plastic CB-xxxx line of chastity devices are soon to be the “Has Been,” in my book.  It’s time for something more sturdy, like stainless steel!  And while we’re at it, how about something built to my own custom measurements, for (hopefully) a perfect fit! Fortunately there are places to get just that, granted for a bit more money!

My “Up and Coming,” is a stainless steel chastity device custom built by a U.S. company, Mature Metal.  From everything I’ve read, they have a great reputation and produce very quality products.  For myself, I selected the “Queen’s Keep.”  Everything on their site looked very nice; this was just personally the most pleasing to the eye and looks like it will be sustainable for possibly rather lengthy periods of chastity.

I am very eagerly awaiting arrival of the Queens Keep.  They say it takes approximately 6-8 weeks for building and shipping a custom device.   My order was placed back on September 26, 2014, so 4 weeks have already passed!  When it comes, I will be able to give a much better description and review of it.
